- Introduction to Nail & String ArtIn this video, we get to know Instructor Fatima and her beginnings in working with wooden boards and the art of string and nails (String Art). She explains how she will guide us in creating our own pieces using this unique art form. She also covers the essential tools needed to get started, such as the appropriate size of wooden board, the types of nails, and the kinds of threads that can be used, while explaining the role of each tool in completing the work correctly and beautifully.1
- Basics of Hammering Nails in String Art with Instructor FatimaIn this video, we begin a practical application of hammering nails according to the shape we chose. Instructor Fatima explains the correct way to hammer the nails, the proper spacing between them, the required height, and the best starting point. She also demonstrates how to handle straight lines, curves, and sharp angles, as well as how to correct mistakes during the process. Additionally, she briefly shares her beginnings with string and nail art to inspire the learners.1
- Basics of String Wrapping and Securing in String ArtIn this video, we learn how to remove the paper template after securing the nails, and we explore the types of threads suitable for string art and how to use them. The instructor also explains how to tie and secure the thread at the beginning and end, how to fill the shape with the desired color, and how to designate areas with appropriate colors to avoid mistakes during the process. Additionally, we learn how to easily correct errors if any issues occur while wrapping the thread.1
- Continuing to Color the Design and Threading Between the NailsIn this video, we continue working on the remaining colors within the design and learn how to thread the string between the nails correctly to achieve the desired shape. The instructor also shows us how to secure the thread on the nails and prevent it from slipping, along with tips for moving smoothly between the nails and maintaining the color arrangement during the process.1
- Highlighting the Final Shape in String and Nail ArtIn this video, we learn how to define the shape from the inside and outside using the thread in a precise way that highlights the design’s features more clearly and professionally. We also follow the final steps to complete the artwork and see how the design comes together fully after adding the finishing touches that showcase the beauty of string and nail art.1
